The ensemble TaG and Cardinal Complex explore new forms of expression between historical soundscapes and contemporary creativity.
How free are we in our artistic work from our cultural past? Is it even possible to create works that are completely detached from tradition? In this program, past and present meet in a special way: the ensemble TaG encounters Cardinal Complex—an international ensemble with expertise in Baroque and early music.
Together, the musicians explore new forms of expression between historical soundscapes and contemporary creativity. Works from past eras are combined with current compositions that have emerged from an intensive dialogue with musical history. The result is a fluid interplay of eras, a musical space in which opposites merge and tradition and innovation inspire each other.
