The programme selected by Laura Schmid for her production “Il Postiglione” contains some particularly precious pearls of chamber music for recorder.
Join the musicians on a journey to the Dresden court of the baroque era. With works by Francesco Maria Veracini, Johann Adolph Hasse and Jan Dismas Zelenka you will hear the unheard-of! All three composers on this CD were closely associated with the musical life at the Saxon court in Dresden, whether as conductor or musician. Laura Schmid and her Ensemble d’istinto bring both original works and arrangements to the stage.
